This tour is offered for about 10 days each month, when the moonlight begins to outshine the bioluminescence, offering a peaceful journey across the bay as we explore its rich history and ecological beauty.

We’ll start by catching the final moments of the sunset, watching its vibrant colors reflect off the water, before delving into the history of Salt River Bay and its natural features, like the iconic red mangrove trees. As night falls, we’ll also share fascinating stories of the stars and constellations above.

Though the moonlight dims the glow, you will likely still see many of the bioluminescent organisms that call the bay home. End your tour with a tranquil paddle back to our shop, guided by the gentle moonlight on the calm waters, making for a truly peaceful and memorable experience.

We’ll meet at our shop in Salt River Marina just before sunset. After a brief orientation, we’ll paddle across the bay to catch the last moments of the sunset continue into the Bioluminescent bay to enjoy the magical glow under the moonlit sky. The entire trip lasts about two hours, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the peaceful waters and stunning scenery.
